This year-long Physics course introduces students to the fundamental principles that govern the physical world. Designed for high school students, the course emphasizes both conceptual understanding and practical application, using mathematical reasoning, hands-on experiments, and real-world examples. Students will explore how and why objects move, interact, and respond to forces, gaining a deeper appreciation for the God ordained laws of nature that shape our universe.
Course Topics Include:
Introduction to Physics and Scientific Methods
Measurement and units
Precision, accuracy, and error analysis
Scientific inquiry and problem-solving techniques

By the end of the course, students will be equipped with foundational knowledge in physics and critical thinking skills that prepare them for further study in science, engineering, or related fields.
Course Requirements:
The class will use Berean Builders "Discovering Design with Physics" ($69). Students should have completed one year of high school algebra and be finished with or taking geometry. Knowledge of sine, cosine, and tangent is useful.
Course class times and cost:
Physics class will be at 9:30 am - 12 noon on Tuesdays at Covenant Home School Resource Center (CHSRC) located at 2940 W Bethany Home Road in Phoenix, AZ.
The cost for the course is $110/month. The tuition cost covers all lab supplies and class materials that will be used. CHSRC requires all students to pay a non-refundable $100 registration fee. (The CHSRC registration fee is $100 per student, regardless of the number of classes taken. This fee supports administrative services and provides student insurance coverage while on campus. Parents will be automatically added to CHSRC’s email list. CHSRC values your privacy and will never sell or share your information.) The class size is limited to a maximum of 15 students.
